Why not spend a Saturday in a practical and productive way, designing and constructing simple reusable
cloth bags? We all need small bags for sewing/craft utensils and projects; placing gifts and wine in
specialty-made bags is always a thoughtful gesture, and tote bags that can be tucked away and used to
carry our groceries are a big part of shopping these days. The instructor will help you design and
construct your bags, which are relatively easy to build. Some fabric will be provided, and you can
purchase fabric and other supplies from the instructor for a material fee of $10.00. Please bring the
exact cash on that day if you buy materials. However, feel free to bring material you may have, a 1/2
meter to 1 meter will suffice, or use old garments you may want to upcycle. The instructor will provide a
few sewing machines; however, if you have a sewing machine, please bring it in on that day.
