Whether working in your studio, gardening, cleaning, or cooking, wearing a protective garment on the
front of the body is always prudent to keep your clothing from getting dirty – we should all wear an
apron! Why not spend a Saturday making a classic work apron? The instructor will provide a basic apron
pattern that you can customize. The apron will be knee-level in length, and you can personalize it to suit
your specific needs, such as adding pockets or decorative details, etc. All you need to bring is 1 ½ meters
of fabric and complimentary thread, or upcycle an old pair of jeans or clothing to create a one-of-a-kind
apron. Most hand-sewing equipment is provided for assembling the apron, but it would be best to bring
a pair of fabric scissors. The instructor will provide instructions and a few sewing machines; however, if
you have a sewing machine, please bring it in on that day.
