Discover the endless creative possibilities of the classic granny square in this fun and inspiring
2.5-hour workshop! We’ll cover traditional granny square construction, explore modern and non-
traditional designs, experiment with colour combinations, make some of the squares you’d like
practice with and share patterns, handouts, and project ideas to keep you creating long after the
workshop ends. Yarn will be provided for sampling and practice, and participants are welcome
to bring their own yarn if you would like to make squares in their favourite colours. This workshop is
intended for crocheters who are already comfortable making a magic ring, single crochet, and
double crochet. Please bring your own crochet hooks and basic notions, as these will not be
provided.
