Weaving: Crackle Weave on a 4-shaft table loom

Explore a weave structure called “crackle” allowing the weaver to develop various looks on a single warp, using different treadling and weft yarns. We will wind the warp and setup the loom with the help of the instructors, however it is expected that the participants have previous 4 shaft weaving experience, have setup their own loom and can read a draft. As we will be weaving on a table loom, the width of the project will be limited to 14”.

You may use your own yarn or request from the instructors’ appropriate yarns to be provided for a cost (TBD). Handouts will be distributed electronically but some of it will be required in paper form.

March 20 and 21, 2027, from 10am to 4pm

Cost: $140 (members) and $170 (non-members)

Payment is required to reserve a space. Please use the form below to express interest in the course.
