DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or just starting out\, join us for a fun day of creative\nsewing! Make your own reusable cloth bags\, aprons\, or pillow covers\, or give new life to\ngarments from your wardrobe. The instructor is excited to offer friendly\, personalized guidance\nfor whatever project you choose. To help you get the most out of the workshop\, please reach\nout to the instructor ahead of time with your project ideas. That way\, they can recommend the\nbest materials and make sure all the supplies and instructions you’ll need are ready for you. \nWant to make an apron? The instructor will provide a basic knee-length pattern for you to\npersonalize. Bring along 1½ meters of fabric and some matching thread or get creative and use\nold jeans or other clothing to upcycle! Feel free to bring any embellishments or extra fabric if\nyou’d like to add pockets or special details. Everyone can use a handy bag for sewing supplies\,\ncrafts\, or everyday errands! Handcrafted bags also make thoughtful gift or wine bags\, and cloth\ntotes are perfect for groceries. The instructor will show you how easy it is to design and sew\nyour own bags. Bring ½ to 1 meter of your favorite fabric or upcycle old clothes to make\nsomething truly unique. \n\nDon’t worry if you don’t have fabric—there will be some available to\npurchase at the workshop. A few sewing machines will be available to use\, but please bring\nyour own if you can.
